This painful disorder has little
or nothing to do with the
 Carpal
Tunnel area
 of the wrist
.

 Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is
caused by the shortening of the
 flexor and extensor muscles
 of the forearm.

The repetitive hyper-extension of the
wrist causes the flexor and extensor muscles
of the forearm to shorten and become restricted, putting
undue pressure on the Carpal Tunnel area of the wrist. This is
why the pain and discomfort associated with this disorder

is felt in the tendons and nerves of the wrist.
